Mike began his insurance career in May of 1982 with Financial Management Associates of Hartford in group benefits sales and administration. He opened his own firm, MA Noddin Co. in 1987, a Group benefits brokerage firm offering: Medical, Dental, Life, STD and LTD. He joined Benefits Plus, Inc. in April of 1996 as an associate and joined Founders Insurance Group as the group Benefits Manager in May of 2007.
Mike is currently a member of Anthem Blue cross and blue shield’s Broker Advisory committee and is a past member of the United health Care Broker Advisory Committee.
Mike lives in Bristol Connecticut is married to Debra and has two great children Jessica and Kyle. Outside of Founders, Mike enjoys golf, baseball and fishing on his boat.

Darlene joined the Group Health & Life Division at Founders Insurance Group in February of 2006. She has over 26 years of customer service and sales experience as a top producer in the Communications field before branching into insurance in 2003. Darlene’s keen customer service and sales skills have been instrumental in the success of her department.
Darlene is very active with her two sons – both avid sportsman as well as her husband Mike, a nationally ranked competative lumberjack who sports over 26 World Titles and more than 100 overall titles to his name. Group Life and Health Account Managers

Cheryl FuhrManager Commercial Lines Team
Cheryl heads up our Commercial Lines service team along with overseeing the marketing of our larger commercial accounts. She joined Founders in November of 2006 and is an integral part of Team Founders. She began her insurance career under the tutelage of her father over 30 years ago and has worked in various agency roles but found her passion in Commercial insurance.
Cheryl completed the NW CT Chamber of Commerce Leadership Northwest program and was chosen as the class valedictorian, and currently sits on the advisory board for the program. She is a member of the Penn Millers Agency Advisory Council and was the recipient of the Connecticut Insurance Marketing Associations Award for excellence in April of 2009.
Outside of Founders, Cheryl enjoys running, the Red Sox, cooking, traveling, a relaxing day at the spa and of course spending time with her nieces and nephew.
